Goodreads is throwing a big party in New York. It is a kickoff event for a new project we’re working on this summer, and it features Pulitzer Prize-winner Jennifer Egan (of course). The incredibly fun, catchy, charismatic punk band Care Bears on Fire will perform. There will be interactive games you’ll actually want to play and probably prizes. There will be a playlist of songs with pauses in them that I am personally putting together. There will be a crowd of gorgeous people, some of whom will probably be single and all of whom will probably like to read. There will be surprises.
